We also collect images of calving records that you upload for AI processing. Usage data such as log data, device information, and analytics may be collected automatically to improve our services.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and maintain the CattleOS platform, process uploaded notebook images through our AI extraction pipeline, build and maintain your herd knowledge graph, communicate with you about your account and service updates, and improve our AI models and platform features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Uploaded notebook images are processed through Google's Gemini API and are subject to Google's data handling policies. Extracted herd data is stored in encrypted Neo4j graph databases with access controls. We implement industry-standard security measures including regular audits, access logging, and automated threat detection.
Third-Party Services
CattleOS integrates with third-party services to deliver our platform. These include Google Gemini API for AI-powered handwriting extraction, Neo4j for knowledge graph storage, and cloud hosting providers for infrastructure. Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your herd data in standard formats. You can request a complete copy of all data we hold about you.
